Qld: Armed man keeps police at bay during siege
BRISBANE, Aug 21 AAP - An armed man is holding police at bay after barricading himself
in an industrial shed in far north Queensland.
Police said negotiators were talking to the 46-year-old, who has a firearm.
The siege began about midnight (AEST) in Dalrymple Road, Garbutt, near Townsville.)
It is believed there are no other people in the shed.
A cordon has been set up and several roads have been closed.
